“Patterning” occurs when your pool cleaner repeatedly follows the same path instead of cleaning randomly across your entire pool.Â
If your Baracuda Ranger is stuck in this repetitive movement pattern, first check that the water flow is sufficient within your filtration system.Â
Ensure all hoses are correctly connected and free from leaks. Inspect the deflector wheel to confirm it moves freely, and check the diaphragm for any tears or wear.Â
Adjusting the position of your return jets can also help create a better cleaning environment.Â
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please contact Baracuda After Sales support online or call 086 088 7665.
Installing your Baracuda Ranger is straightforward.Â
First, ensure your pool pump is off before beginning installation.Â
Connect the six 1-meter twist-lock hoses, making sure connections are secure. Attach the flow control valve to the end of the hose assembly that will connect to your skimmer box.Â
Connect the other end of the hose to the cleaner head. Position the C-clip hose weight approximately 1.5m from the cleaner head.Â
Submerge the cleaner in your pool and fill the hoses with water to remove air. Connect the flow control valve to your skimmer box, then turn on your pump.Â
Check to see if the cleaner begins moving across the pool floor.Â
For detailed installation instructions, please refer to your product guide or contact Baracuda After Sales support online or call 086 088 7665.
If your Baracuda Ranger is moving slowly or has stopped completely, check your pump and filtration system first—they may need cleaning or backwashing.Â
Ensure the flow control valve is correctly installed and there’s adequate suction. Inspect the cleaner’s diaphragm for tears or debris that could restrict movement. Check all hose connections for leaks and make sure they’re properly secured. The twist-lock hoses should be free from cracks or damage.Â
Also, the 36-fin disc should be examined for wear or debris that might impede suction.Â
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please contact Baracuda After Sales support online or call 086 088 7665.
